Brawl Stars rewards the right pick and patient positioning more than fast thumbs. Sort these six out and your trophies climb on their own.

Pick for the mode and mapThrowers shine on walled maps, tanks dominate Brawl Ball, snipers rule open layouts. Picking a comfort brawler into the wrong map is the most common ranked mistake.

Peek, don't push blindlyBait shots from behind a wall, wait until their ammo or super is spent, then commit. Trading into a full clip is how you feed the enemy's super.

Track supers — yours and theirsNever engage into a charged enemy super, and don't waste yours on a near-dead target. Supers decide fights; spend them on value.

In Gem Grab, play safe at tenOnce your team holds ten gems, stop pushing and stall the countdown. A carrier who dies with ten gems hands the whole lead back.

Respect the bushesUse bushes for cover and ambushes, but never walk blindly into one — check with a shot or a teammate first. Bush camps end runs fast.

Don't tilt-queueLosses snowball when you're frustrated. After two or three in a row, stop — your trophies will thank you for the break.
