About
Hi — I'm Ravi Menon, and Tap Tactics is where I write down what actually makes you better at the mobile games most of us already have on our phones.
I got tired of "tips" articles that were really just descriptions of the game, or worse, a nudge to buy something. So I started keeping my own notes: the handful of habits that genuinely raise a Subway Surfers score, the elixir discipline that wins Clash Royale ladder games, the difference between potting and playing position in 8 Ball Pool. Those notes became this site.
How the guides are written
Every game here is one I play. Each guide opens with a quick-facts box — genre, developer, platforms, and the single biggest thing to get right — then lays out the tips as clear numbered steps, followed by the common mistakes worth dropping. I aim for advice you can use in your very next session, not a wall of theory.
No ads, no affiliates
Tap Tactics carries no advertising and no affiliate links. I don't earn anything if you install a game or buy an in-app pack, and nobody pays to be featured or to get a friendlier write-up. In fact, a lot of the advice here is specifically about not spending money to win. It's a personal project, kept simple on purpose.
A quick disclaimer
I'm a player sharing what works for me, not an official source. Games update constantly, so a tip can fall out of date, and what works for me may not click for you straight away. Treat these as starting points and adapt them to your own play.
