Get right firstEvidence over vibes

Among Us is won in the meetings, not the hallways. Whether you're crew or impostor, these habits make you harder to read and quicker to read others.

1
Crew: do visual tasks earlyMedbay scan, trash, and the asteroids visibly confirm you're doing a real task in front of others. Get cleared early and you're free to investigate.
2
Watch the task barAn impostor can stand at a task spot and fake the animation — but the communal task bar won't move. If someone "finishes" tasks and the bar doesn't budge, you've found a faker.
3
Don't wander alonePair up early. Witnesses clear you, and a buddy means you can vouch for each other when the bodies start dropping.
4
Impostor: have your alibi readyAlways know where you'll say you were. Use sabotages (lights, reactor) to split the group and create clean kill windows away from witnesses.
5
Argue with specifics, not feelings"I saw Red vent in electrical" beats "Red is sus." Vague accusations with no evidence make you look like the impostor — so bring times, places, and who you were with.
6
Mind your kill timingAs impostor, kill then call a sabotage to scatter responders, and never double-kill in the open. Patience keeps your name off the suspect list.
The single biggest skill is self-clearing: do visible tasks with witnesses early, and the rest of the game you get to play detective instead of defending yourself.
